I stumbled on this on a theonering.net post.

It's so awesome to hear Tolkien's words as he meant them to sound.
He's got a great voice, for one thing.
The hour-long program also brings to light his personal struggle with getting the text published.
I'm so glad he decided to do it, in the end.
And there's something encouraging about knowing that one of the best authors of this century
struggled with confidence.

Also, I love the fact that Tolkien loved to wander through the countryside,
and to work with the earth and garden.
Kind of like another Englishman I know :)
